Welcome to the world of social media. With everyone being connect one way or another via the internet employers have to be able to keep up with the growing trend. How are people searching for jobs now a days? Via the internet. So why not have an app that can help employers connect with those that are seeking for a job. LinkedIn is an app soulfully for career and employment connections.

When creating your profile you would be asked to fill out information regarding; work experience, education, training, skills, and like any other social media page, a professional picture of yourself.

Once you have created your account you are now a member. As a member you can invite anyone to become your connection. Be careful when searching and adding connections, if the person selects "I don't know" it counts against you. Too many of these types of responses can make your account restricted.

As a user scan find jobs, people and business opportunities recommend by someone else contact. Just like any other social media site you can post blogs and pictures, follow different companies and even like and congratulate others updates when they get a new employment. 

Having LinkedIn as an app helps dissipate the excuse "i don't have time". If someone has time to upload a picture of their lunch, or a statues of their vacation, they have time to search for a job. Don't let the new age of social media deteriorate your hunt for a great career.
